Die UN-Kampagne Orange The World findet jährlich zwischen dem 25. November, dem “Internationalen Tag gegen Gewalt an Frauen”, und dem 10. Dezember, dem “Internationalen Tag der Menschenrechte”, statt. Weltweit erstrahlen darum Gebäude in oranger Farbe, um gemeinsam ein sichtbares Zeichen gegen Gewalt an Frauen zu setzen und damit zur Enttabuisierung dieses Themas beizutragen.

  • Weltweit ist jede 3. Frau von Gewalt betroffen

  • In Österreich erfährt jede 5. Frau ab ihrem 16. Lebensjahr psychische, physische und/oder sexuelle Gewalt

In Österreich beteilitgen sich 2019 rund 130 Gebäude, darunter erstmals auch 60 Krankenhäuser. Auch dieses Jahr setzen wir gemeinsam ein starkes Zeichen gegen Gewalt an Frauen.
