Es ist unverkennbar – es sind bald Wahlen. Genau, Wahlen zum Niederösterreichischen Landtag. Am 29.1.2023 ist es soweit.

Aber muss eine so schöne Stadt, wie Retz, so mit Plakaten zugepflastert werden?

Die NÖ ÖVP, nein nicht ÖVP, sondern die Niederösterreich Partei will 6 Mio. Euro ausgeben und diese Kosten auch nicht überschreiten. Diese 6 Mio. Wahlkostenobergrenze wurde 2018 von der ÖVP um 647.779,50 Euro überschritten, was eine Strafzahlung von 26.000 Euro nach sich zog. Eine Strafe in so einer Höhe tut aber nicht weh.

Die Beschränkung der Wahlwerbungsausgaben sind im Art. 1 § 110 der NÖ Landtagswahlordnung 1992 geregelt, diese Obergrenze wurde im Februar 2017 beschlossen.

Was machen SPÖ, FPÖ, Grüne und NEOS?

Die Kostengrenze bei der FPÖ ist drei Millionen Euro. Wie viel Geld genau für den freiheitlichen Wahlkampf ausgegeben wird, beantwortet die FPÖ nicht.

Auch mit 3 Mio. Euro ist die niederösterreichische Sozialdemokratie, die SPÖ, in ihren Wahlkampfkosten begrenzt. Konkrete Zahlen sind nicht bekannt.

Das Budget der Grünen, für den Landtagswahlkampf, beträgt 1,1 Mio. Euro.

Die NEOS geben 1,3 Mio. Euro aus – und zeigen volle Kostentransparenz.

Alle Parteien müssen ihre Ausgaben nach der Wahl melden. Dann stehen die tatsächlich aufgewendeten Mio. Euro fest. Man wird sehen ob die NÖ ÖVP – also die Niederösterreich Partei – auch die an ihre Mitglieder versendeten NÖ Fahnen in ihre Wahlkampfkosten aufnimmt. Es wurden zum Landesfeiertag Fahnen in den blau-gelben Landesfarben samt Wappen an alle ÖVP-Mitglieder versendet.

Die Wahlwerbung verschlingt Unmengen an Geld. Mit den vielen Mio. Euros könnten in NÖ einige Kindergärten gebaut werden. Das wäre sinnvoll eingesetztes Geld und eine Investition in die Zukunft unserer Kinder.
